Og for første gang på den skæbnesvangre dag tog en lille pige, som fik sit navn fra sin røde hue - alene ud for første gang uden sine forældre. Tre forskellige heltes veje (en ung ulv, en jægeraspirant og en lille pige) krydser hinanden i en skør finale midt i skoven - i en hytte, hvor Rødhættes bedstemor fejrer sin runde fødselsdag. After 100 years, wolves have returned to the Czech forests. The youngest wolf in the pack is waiting for his first mission, one which will win him respect in the new territory. A young hunter in training is studying for his hunter's test in the woods that day. And for the first time, on that fateful day, a little girl whose name came from her red hood, walked alone in the woods without her parents. The paths of three heroes (a young wolf, a hunter in training and a little girl) cross each other in a crazy finale in the middle of the woods - in a cabin where Red Riding Hood's grandmother is celebrating her special birthday.
